About Kelly Propane and Fuel

Kelly Propane and Fuel, LLC is owned and operated by the Kelly family and has been serving the fuel needs of North Texas customers for more than 60 years. Currently, John Kelly is the owner/operator of the business and oversees its operations and three locations from the main office in Holliday, Texas. Kelly Propane and Fuel is a local, independently owned and operated company proudly serving the fuel needs and customers of North Texas. Our involvement at both the local and state levels is a testament to our ethical operating philosophy and our dedication to those we serve.

Industry Involvement

Involvement in the propane industry is something we take very seriously here at Kelly Propane and Fuel. Our president and owner is very active on a statewide level by volunteering his time to support the Texas propane industry and the Texas Propane Gas Association (TPGA). His involvement includes having served as the TPGA district director multiple times as well as serving on the board of the TPGA for a number of years.

Rick Byers, the manager of Kelly Propane and Fuel, has served two terms on the Alternative Fuels Research and Education Division advisory committee, as appointed by the Texas Railroad Commissioners. We believe in the promotion of our fuel, the protection of our customers, and the safeguarding of the propane industry.

Community Involvement

Kelly Propane and Fuel believes in giving back to the communities we serve. Our main office in Holliday is involved with, and actively supports, the Holliday Volunteer Fire Department. We also believe in giving back to schools in our community. We consistently give our time and money to the Holliday high school band and local athletic clubs. Additionally, John Kelly’s children are both involved in athletics and play on several sports teams.

Dedication to Safety

Kelly Propane and Fuel is dedicated to protecting both customers and employees alike. We believe in the safe and ethical operation of our business at all levels. We conduct safety training once a month for all of our employees as well as requiring them to have continuing education every four years. All of our installed tanks and installed appliances include safety and operational training for our customers. We do have a strict leak testing policy that requires us to inspect and check all systems that have run out of gas. Unlike many other companies, we do not charge for this service unless the customer has run out of gas multiple times. At Kelly Propane and Fuel, customer service and safety are our priorities.
